There is a few categories in which we can divide Daniel’s work. Diversification, Distribution and Expansion is the motto in which Daniel abides his work by.

  • Anything related to recording, producing, mixing or mastering.

    Daniel in the last years has taken this as a priority to be able to help other people but also to craft his own sound properly. Also, since he diversified his skills into skills that did not require personal meet ups, Daniel severely took advantage of the lockdown situation to create work and create immediate revenue.

    Since he started working as an Engineer he has had the opportunity to work mainly in Switzerland but also participating in production from all over the world either recording and mixing to producing outstanding artist including some of the biggest names in Jazz today. Including:

    Wolfgang Muthspiel, Aydin Esen, Guillermo Klein, Mark Turner, Larry Grenadier, Jeff Ballard, Jorge Rossy, Robert Landferman, Dominique Girod, Malcolm Braff, Banz Öester, Hans Feingenwinter, Carlo Mombelli, Adrian Mears, Marilyn Masur, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Gregor Hilbe, Matthias Kohler, Ben Street, David Virelles, Iago Fernandez, Vinicius Gomes, Doug Weiss, Joris Roelofs, Francesca Gaza, Yumi Ito, Song Yi-Jeon to name a few..

    Daniel’s work is often described as organised and methodic with a deep sense of sonic projections which acts as support for the artist involved. His sensitivity towards the artist vision guides his decision making to find the right balance between comfortability and compromising.

    Since this work englobes so many other different ramifications often it is the category in which Daniel spends more time in represented in the diagram with a 40%.

  • The pass on of primordial information for the training and formation of students, which takes a major roll into financial sustainability.

    Daniel since young age has taken his charisma and ability to work with people to use it as another resource in his palette of skills. Having his first experience teaching and coaching back in Venezuela being only 16 years old at the time, Daniel learned very important lessons in which he would take over the years

    Reliability and Consistency became the new norm into what Daniel would frame his work as a teacher.

    At the moment Daniel handles bass and production students, as well as being part of the Jazzcampus teaching roster teaching Ableton, Live-Mixing and Recording. As well, Daniel has had the opportunity to make interactive sound workshops for kids to incentive the curiosity for sound and how sound can be created in unconventional ways.

    Daniel is expected to continue giving lessons at the Jazzcampus as well as giving some interactive sound workshops in the upcoming Basel Music Festival BSCENE 2022

  • Every concert or presentation in which Daniel takes part of, anything related to stage presence. From playing an instrument to acting.

    Since Daniel’s versatility and integration he has been able to take part in more than five hundred concerts across eights years having opportunities to play with fantastic artists while traveling the world.

  • Time devoted to creative and critical thinking. Letting the mind barriers fade to create, inspire and lift previous works or just simply for curiosity.

    By nature, Daniel has always been a risk taker and somebody that can break old habits and venture into the unknown creating the most favorable atmosphere for dreams to materialise.
